Cash is accepted for bail amounts of $5,000 or less. For amounts over $5,000, payment must be a bank check made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cash is not accepted for higher bail. Verify the exact amount and payment form before arriving at the Sheriff's Office.
